Role Overview:

The Director Proposals (US Federal Proposals) is a strategic leader and hands-on contributor responsible for managing the end-to-end proposal development process for US Federal Government contracts. This role requires overseeing a team of proposal professionals while actively contributing to the creation, review, and submission of high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals aligned with federal business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of proposal managers and writers to ensure timely, high-quality submissions for US Federal proposals.

- Review and analyze Federal RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs in detail to identify requirements, compliance needs, and submission strategies.

- Collaborate with Capture Managers, Business Development, and Solution teams to design winning proposal strategies for Federal clients.

- Independently develop and write key proposal sections including Executive Summaries, Technical Narratives, Past Performance, and Pricing Inputs.

- Drive proposal kick-off meetings, review sessions, and governance reviews.

- Ensure proposal responses are fully compliant with Federal solicitation requirements and aligned with customer expectations.

- Manage proposal templates,



content libraries, and version control processes.

- Conduct quality reviews, proofing, and formatting to ensure qualified and error-free submissions.

- Coordinate inputs from cross-functional teams including technical, pricing, and operations.

- Conduct post-submission “lessons learned” sessions to improve future proposals.

- Prepare and present weekly proposal status reports to senior management.

- Balance leadership and individual contribution — effectively managing deliverables while taking ownership of critical Federal proposals.
