Role & responsibilities

As a Lead Engineer UI Design, you will define the frontend architecture, establish engineering standards, and lead the development of reusable UI components and design systems. You will work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Backend Engineers, and Architects to build intuitive, secure, and responsive applications

This role requires strong expertise in React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, modern frontend architecture, and enterprise UI engineering.

UI Design & Technical Leadership

- Define and own the frontend architecture for enterprise SaaS applications.
- Design scalable, modular, and reusable UI frameworks and component libraries.
- Establish coding standards, frontend best practices, and development guidelines.
- Lead technical design discussions and architectural reviews.
- Mentor frontend engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical coaching.

Frontend Development

- Develop high-quality applications using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
- Build reusable UI components and shared libraries.
- Develop responsive, accessible, and mobile-friendly user interfaces.
- Implement server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and client-side rendering strategies using Next.js.
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.

Design System & User Experience

- Build and maintain an enterprise Design System.




- Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate Figma designs into production-ready applications.
- Implement design tokens, theming, and white-label capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).

Performance & Quality

- Optimize application performance, bundle size, rendering efficiency, and Core Web Vitals.
- Implement automated testing using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Monitor frontend performance and resolve production issues.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive behavior.

Collaboration

- Collaborate with Backend, DevOps, QA, and Product teams.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, architecture reviews, and release planning.
- Drive continuous improvement of engineering practices and developer productivity.

- Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade React/Next.js applications.
- Strong expertise in frontend architecture and reusable component design.
- Excellent debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for building exceptional user experiences.
- Ability to mentor engineers and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
