Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented AutoCAD Operator with 1-2 years of experience in Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) projects. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining engineering drawings and layouts to support project execution for the HMWSSB project in Hyderabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise 2D AutoCAD drawings for WTP/STP projects.
- Develop and update GA drawings, layouts, sections, plans, and detailed engineering drawings.
- Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Process Engineering teams for drawing preparation and updates.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
- Incorporate design revisions and engineering comments accurately and within timelines.
- Maintain drawing registers, revision records, and document control procedures.
- Support project teams with drawing extraction, detailing, and quantity-related drafting tasks.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of drawings before submission.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
- Experience in drafting and detailing for WTP/STP projects.
- Understanding of Civil and Mechanical engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of plant layouts, piping systems, and equipment arrangements.
- Ability to interpret engineering designs and convert them into detailed drawings.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- 1-2 years of experience as an AutoCAD Operator/Drafter.
- Experience in Water Supply, Wastewater, STP, WTP, or Infrastructure projects is preferred.
