About the Opportunity

A leading nationwide pharmaceutical distribution powerhouse a business that keeps essential medicines moving across multiple distribution centres and reaches deep into every corner of the country.

You will not inherit a legacy playbook you will write it. This is a role for a builder: someone who can walk the warehouse floor and the boardroom with equal ease, turn fragmented, branch-led operations into a single standardised engine, and make technology the multiplier behind it.

Most operational excellence roles ask you to optimise the margins. This one asks you to redesign the machine. You'll own two levers at once process and technology and use them together to lift customer service, cost, and consistency across a distribution network operating at national scale. You'll build your own team, report directly to the CEO, and see your work show up in numbers that matter to the entire enterprise.

What You'll Own

- Standardise operations at scale — Bring uniform warehousing and order-processing processes to a network of 100+ distribution centres, replacing branch-by-branch practices with one disciplined standard.
- Drive customer service excellence — Set, measure and relentlessly improve service metrics using Lean Six Sigma tools, turning improvement opportunities into structured, high-impact projects.
- Diagnose and unlock cost — Analyse end-to-end supply chain costs,



benchmark internally and externally, and convert the gaps you find into funded, delivered savings.
- Build the improvement engine — Set up and coach process-improvement teams, train them on Lean Six Sigma, and hold them to successful project closure.
- Lead the ERP agenda — Conceptualise and roll out a common ERP platform, and use it to hard-wire standardised processes across the network.

What You'll Bring

- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt — certified and, more importantly, battle-tested through real deployments.
- A track record of running a continuous improvement / operational excellence program — not just projects, but building the capability: training belts, running the pipeline, delivering results.
- Hands-on ERP implementation experience — you've been part of a multi-site ERP rollout and understand how systems and process standardisation reinforce each other.
- 10+ years in the IT function within a wholesale, distribution or retail business — pharmaceutical distribution experience is a robust plus.
- Sharp analytical instincts — you're comfortable culling insight from large, messy datasets and letting the data pick the fight.
- Influence without authority — you can drive execution across operations teams and partners through credibility, clarity and persistence.
- B.Tech / B.E. (mandatory); an MBA is welcome.
