Job Purpose

To support the Internal Audit function by evaluating internal controls, ensuring compliance with company policies, identifying process improvement opportunities, and assisting in risk-based audits across business functions.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in planning and executing internal audits as per the annual audit plan.
- Review financial, operational, and compliance processes to assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
- Identify control gaps, process weaknesses, and business risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Verify compliance with company policies, SOPs, statutory requirements, and internal guidelines.
- Prepare audit observations, working papers, and audit reports with actionable recommendations.
- Follow up on audit findings and monitor implementation of corrective actions.
- Support special audits, investigations, and management-requested assignments.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect audit evidence and resolve audit queries.




- Analyze financial and operational data using Excel and ERP systems.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of audit records.

Required Skills

- Solid understanding of Internal Audit principles and Internal Financial Controls (IFC).
- Knowledge of accounting standards, financial statements, and risk assessment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Qualified CA or CMA with 1?2 years of Internal Audit experience.
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Exposure to operational, financial, inventory, and compliance audits.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel to manufacturing plants for audit assignments, as required.
