Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced ITGC / SOX / SOC Audit Manager to lead IT audit engagements supporting Canada Audit. The role involves leading global teams, evaluating IT General Controls (GITCs), IT Application Controls (ITACs), and supporting financial statement audits through robust IT risk assessments. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to SOX compliance, SOC 1 & SOC 2 audits, PCAOB standards, and experience managing teams in a Big 4 or similar consulting setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead IT risk assessments and evaluate IT General Controls (GITCs) and IT Application Controls (ITACs).
- Perform SOX testing and SOC 1 / SOC 2 (SSAE18) audits.
- Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of IT controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
- Support external audits with IT audit procedures.
- Assess risks across ERP systems, databases, operating systems, and cloud environments.
- Manage multiple engagements and cross-location teams.
- Drive quality, efficiency improvements, and automation initiatives.
- Review workpapers and ensure compliance with PCAOB and AICPA standards.
- Mentor and develop team members.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong experience in SOX and SOC audits.
- Knowledge of PCAOB and AICPA auditing standards.
- Experience in ITGC and ITAC testing.
- Exposure to ERP systems and IT platforms (Windows, UNIX/Linux, Mainframe, AS400).
- Database knowledge: SQL, Oracle, DB2, Sybase.
- Understanding of frameworks such as COBIT, COSO, HITRUST.
- Experience leading global teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to Cloud computing, Agile, Automation.
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Big 4 experience preferred.
- Certifications like CISA / CISSP preferred.
Education:
- BE / BTech (Mandatory)
- MBA / MCA / MTech (Preferred)
Additional Information:
- 8-10 years of relevant IT Audit experience.
- Minimum 8 years in Manager / Team Lead role.
- Busy season from September to February.
- No travel required.
