Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect with deep expertise in Fintech, Payments, and Compliance systems to design and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance applications. You will lead the architecture of multi-tenant SaaS solutions for global markets, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (PCI-DSS, GDPR, MAS), and guide engineering teams in implementing robust solutions using Node.js, Angular/React, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, and GCP.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
- Design end-to-end multi-tenant SaaS architectures for payments, remittance, and compliance platforms.
- Create high-level & low-level architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and integration blueprints.
- Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements such as scalability, security, availability, and performance.

Domain Expertise Fintech & Compliance
- Architect systems for payment gateways, wallets, cross-border remittance, FX rate management.
- Implement AML/KYC onboarding flows, transaction screening, fraud detection, and sanctions list checks.
- Ensure full compliance with PCI-DSS, GDPR, MAS, ISO 27001 and local financial regulations.

Technical Leadership
- Lead engineering teams across backend, frontend, and DevOps in delivering architecture aligned solutions.
- Mentor developers on Node.js, Angular/React, microservices, API design, and database optimization.
- Review and approve code, architecture decisions, and deployment strategies.

Backend Development
- Architect Node.js (NestJS/Express) microservices with REST/GraphQL APIs. - Design high-performance MySQL & PostgreSQL schemas for transactional workloads. -
Implement caching strategies with Redis and message queues (Kafka/PubSub).





Frontend Development
- Guide development of Angular/React frontends with secure and accessible UI components. - Ensure seamless integration with backend APIs and real-time event streams.

Cloud & DevOps
- Deploy applications on AWS (EC2, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway) and/or GCP (GKE, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub).
- Define CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/Jenkins) and implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
- Implement disaster recovery, backup strategies, and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana).

Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with product managers, compliance officers, and external partners to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Present architecture decisions to C-level executives and regulatory bodies.

Required Skills & Experience
- 14+ years in software development, 5+ years in architecture roles.
- Strong experience with Node.js, Angular/React, MySQL, PostgreSQL. - Expertise in Payments, Remittance, and Compliance systems.
- Solid understanding of PCI-DSS, GDPR, AML, KYC compliance requirements. - Proven track record of designing microservices-based architectures. - Experience in AWS and/or GCP cloud environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform.
- Familiarity with Trulioo, Onfido, or other identity verification APIs. - Knowledge of blockchain-based payments or real-time payment networks (UPI, Faster Payments).
- Background in FX rate management and currency conversion APIs.
