Soft Skills Trainer (Part time)

Location: Partner Colleges (college visits only, as per training schedule)
Mode: In Person (as per college training schedule)
Engagement Type: Part-Time / Hourly Basis
Remuneration: 800 1200 per hour (based on experience and session scope)
Reporting to: Training Excellence Manager

About the Role:

The Soft Skills Trainer is responsible for delivering employability-focused training at partner colleges to equip students with essential communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. The role focuses on building learner confidence and professionalism to help students excel in interviews, group discussions, and workplace interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver in-person soft skills training sessions at partner colleges on communication, personal branding, GD-PI preparation, and resume building.
- Conduct mock interviews, role plays, simulations, and presentation sessions to enhance employability readiness.
- Train students on effective articulation, clarity of thought, confident communication, and professional behavior.
- Use audio-visual tools and structured feedback methods to track learner progress and improvement.
- Mentor students individually and in groups to address gaps in interpersonal and workplace skills.




- Coordinate with program and placement teams to align training delivery with recruiter and industry expectations.

Key Deliverables:

- High-impact college-based training sessions focused on communication, presentation, and personal branding.
- Improved student performance in GD-PI, resume presentation, and articulation.
- Structured feedback with measurable improvement in confidence, clarity, and employability readiness.
- Alignment of soft skills training outcomes with placement requirements.

Training Approach:

- Student-Centered: Build learner confidence and communication effectiveness.
- Practical: Deliver hands-on training through mock interviews, role plays, simulations, and presentations.
- Feedback-Driven: Use AV tools and structured observation to guide learner improvement.
- Adaptive: Customize sessions based on student profiles and college-specific requirements.
- Collaborative: Work closely with program managers and placement teams to ensure placement readiness.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

- Support placement preparation by strengthening students soft skill readiness.
- Co-develop employability modules with trainers and program teams.
- Provide regular progress updates and training insights to management.
- Contribute to institutional branding by showcasing student success stories.
