- Understand customer specific requirements and their impact on customizing product versions.
- Re-use of existing technical options to the max in order to reduce customization cost.
- Create non-existing technical options as close-to-known solutions or parametrizing existing technical options.
- Do a proper planning of the necessary deliverables in accordance with their own impact on the complete end-to-end customization process.
- This includes intense knowledge of available technical options and relevant combinations and knowledge about part number steering.
- Propose optimization scenarios for standard product development (re-use improvements of close-to-known solutions, standardization of former customer options).
