Roles and Responsibility
- Develop and implement effective data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate data risks, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Design and maintain data catalogs, metadata management systems, and data lineage tracking mechanisms.
- Provide training and support to end-users on data governance best practices and tools.
- Monitor and report on data governance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and recommending process enhancements.
- Ensure all data governance processes are documented, communicated, and maintained up-to-date.
Job Requirements
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Alation, or similar technologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Robust attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
