The Store Assistant is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory of Raw Materials (RM), Packing Materials (PM), Engineering items, and other store materials while ensuring accurate documentation and stock control.

Role & responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, and issue materials.
- Prepare goods receipt notes (GRN) and maintain store records.
- Update stock cards and computerized inventory records.
- Maintain proper rack-wise storage and material identification.
- Conduct physical stock verification and report discrepancies.
- Maintain inward/outward registers and inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with purchase and production departments.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with store procedures.
- Physical verification of all raw material, packing material, Eng -auxiliary items




- for RM -costly 100% check by weighment/number of unit & others RM-randomly check by weight & number of units
- For pm -physically verify by numbers of unit, by weighment & randomly check number in box/bags.

Preferred candidate profile

- Knowledge of RM, PM, and Engineering stores. Experience with GRN, inventory control, and stock verification.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Good documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Candidates from Ankleshwar and Bharuch locations will be preferred
