Role: Business Analyst

Experience Level: 2+ Years

Work location: Mumbai, Bangalore Trivandrum

Notice Period: 0-15 days

Role Responsibilities :

- Elicit, analyze, document, and manage business requirements effectively for financial projects.

- Apply strong understanding of core financial concepts, accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), and financial statements (PL, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

- Familiarity with financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and treasury operations.

- Understand and consider financial regulations in requirements gathering.

- Utilize excellent analytical skills to break down complex problems, identify root causes, and propose practical solutions.

- Communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Build strong relationships and manage expectations with diverse stakeholders.

- Work within Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project methodologies.

Skills expectation:

- Requirements Management: Proven ability to elicit, analyze, document, and manage business requirements effectively.

- Financial Acumen:



Solid understanding of core financial concepts, accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), and financial statements (PL, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Familiarity with financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and treasury operations. Understanding of financial regulations.

- Analytical Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills to break down complex problems, identify root causes, and propose practical solutions.

- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and manage expectations with diverse stakeholders.

- Tools: Proficiency with requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

- Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project methodologies.

- Domain Knowledge: Finance / Good to have Sage Intact GL knowledge.

- Good to Have Skills: SQL logic , Familiarity with financial ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intact) is highly desirable.
