The Assurance Professional Practice Manager Learning, Specialty Practice will apply adult learning knowledge and experience to increase the effectiveness and maximize the efficiencies of firm resources dedicated to Assurance Learning for Assurance Specialty Practice

This role is responsible for managing the development, implementation, and evaluation of training programs as well as other education supports for the practice and business lines as assigned

Successful candidate will ideally possess strong relationship building and project management skills

This position requires a creative, dynamic thinker able to handle multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

- Serves as a professional development advisor managing the collaboration with education stakeholders to develop practice and business line specific training and other learning support programming for varying levels of staff

- Asks clarifying questions to have clear expectations of the business line request

- Reviews projects from the perspective of the identified audience to ensure all needs are addressed

- Aides in the sourcing of scenarios, case studies, etc to ensure course content aligns with end user needs

- Manages the project management charter, expectations, and deadlines for projects

- Collaborates with national Learning Development and national Leadership Development, as well as National Advisory, National Tax, and other firm leadership to plan and execute national and other group live training programs

- Integrates professional development content within the learning curriculum such as business development, financial and leadership skills





- Ensures industry standard LD processes are followed for the project

- Leveraging creative problem-solving skills and analytical judgment, with an emphasis on troubleshooting and devising creative solutions

- Keeps abreast of trends and developments of the talent development field

- Performing other training and non-training related duties, as assigned

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education

- Bachelors degree, required

Experience

- Seven or more years in Learning and Development, Corporate Training, Training for an Accounting or Auditing function, or a combination thereof, required

- Experience with program management from concept to application, required

- Experience applying theories of competency-based curriculum development, preferred

- Strong strategic thinking skills with an ability to collaborate and brainstorm with team members on best practices and innovative ideas, required

- Experience demonstrating strong competency in these areas, preferred:

- Interpersonal and communication (verbal and written)

- Problem solving

- Project management

- Attention to detail

- Ability to respond and be adaptable to changing priorities

- Content knowledge in or experience working with subject matter experts in a business consulting environment or qualified services firm,



preferred but not required

Software:

- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (eg, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), required

- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, WebEx, or other hosting platforms, preferred

- Capable of being attentive and responsive to the needs of internal clients and others

- Able to work in a deadline-driven environment, and handle multiple projects/tasks with an attention to detail
