Edify Insurance Brokers Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly experienced insurance professional with deep expertise in risk placement and carrier negotiations. The candidate with strong market knowledge and a proven track record of strategically identifying, evaluating, and securing optimal insurance solutions across a wide range of business sectors.
This role requires proficiency in managing complex placement processes, cultivating robust relationships with Insurers, and crafting bespoke coverage structures that meet the needs of discerning clients. We are looking for a results-driven leader capable of guiding a team with autonomy, precision, and strategic foresight to deliver superior client outcomes and support business growth.
Objectives of the role:
- Collaborate closely with the Business Development (BD) team to gain a deep understanding of client requirements, ensuring alignment with insurance solutions.
- Lead the procurement of quotes from multiple insurers, ensuring that all client needs are met and options are fully explored.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with insurers to foster business sustainability and growth.
- Conduct comprehensive claims analysis to effectively negotiate with insurers on pricing,
ensuring competitive and fair premiums for clients.
- Apply in-depth understanding of underwriting in general insurance to assess and refine quotes, ensuring competitive advantages for clients.
- Prepare detailed and precise Requests for Quotation (RFQs), ensuring that all necessary information is clearly communicated to potential insurers.
- Leverage extensive industry experience to negotiate with insurers, securing the best pricing and quotes while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
- Evaluate and compare quotes from a range of insurers, identifying the most suitable options to deliver optimal coverage and pricing for clients.
- Good knowledge in the commercial line Insurance product like fire, Marine, burglar, property etc.
Skills and qualifications:
- Minimum bachelors degree. Masters in business, Risk Administration, Insurance or any related field.
- 5+ Years of experience in Insurance Industry with focus on Risk placement, Underwriting, Negotiation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and quick learner
- Ability to learn and update the knowledge of new products
