- Monitor network devices, servers, applications, and infrastructure components using monitoring tools
- Identify alarms, performance issues, and service outages in real time.
- Perform initial assessment and categorize incidents based on severity and impact.
- Follow documented procedures/runbooks to resolve common alerts and incidents.
- Collect necessary logs and diagnostic data for further analysis.
- Escalate unresolved or critical issues to Level 2/Level 3 teams following escalation guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams, service providers, and customers for incident resolution.
- Track incident progress to ensure SLA compliance.
- Log incidents, actions taken, and resolutions in the ticketing system
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date shift logs.
- Document new issues, workarounds,
and knowledge-base articles when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, Networking, or related field.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux systems at basic operational level.
- Ability to use monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 shift rotation setting.
