Job Summary/About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to support our growing product and engineering organization. You will work directly with the DevOps Manager to understand the business needs, how the team goals align with that objective and independently execute on your objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is preferred
- Certification in Microsoft Azure will be an added advantage
Required Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- 3-6 years of experience as a DevOps engineer
- 3+years of DevOps experience with Azure
- Excellent troubleshooting
- Experience working with senior management
- Knowledge of security best practices for infrastructure and software applications
- Hands on cloud concepts, Azure architecture and services
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the implementation of automation tools, manage CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot complex system issues to streamline deployment processes.
- Establish and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address issues and creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the resources wastage.
- Working effectively with development, operations, and other IT teams to facilitate seamless software releases and deployments.
- Working on large, complex projects involving multiple engineers
- Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
- Be responsible for the entirety of Prudent’s DevOps management
