Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and sales forecasts.
- Develop production schedules to achieve on-time delivery targets.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Dispatch for smooth production flow.
- Monitor production progress and identify bottlenecks affecting delivery schedules.
- Plan raw materials, components, and consumables to avoid production shortages.
- Track Work-in-Progress (WIP) and optimize inventory levels.
- Ensure optimum machine capacity utilization and manpower planning.
- Review production performance and prepare daily and monthly MIS reports.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely material availability.
- Follow up on production priorities and expedite critical orders.
- Analyze planning variances and implement corrective actions.
- Support capacity planning, demand forecasting, and production optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with production KPIs, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Work on ERP systems for production planning, inventory management, and reporting.

Candidate Profile

- 3-8 years of experience in Production Planning & Control within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production scheduling, MRP, inventory planning, and capacity planning.
- Experience working with ERP systems and production reporting.
- Good coordination, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering - Preferred
- B.E./B.Tech in Production Engineering
- Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering with relevant experience may also be considered.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, or Lean Manufacturing is an added advantage.
