Role & responsibilities

- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of CNC turning machines used for porcelain insulator machining to ensure high equipment availability.
- Monitor machine health parameters such as vibration, lubrication, alignment, backlash, and wear to prevent unexpected failures.
- Execute maintenance and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems, power packs, pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and filtration systems.
- Carry out maintenance of plant utility systems, including air compressors, cooling towers, Thermopac systems, water softeners, ETP, and water distribution networks.
- Support maintenance of kilns, dryers, thermal systems, fans, conveyors, bearings, heat exchangers, pipelines, and related equipment.
- Plan and manage critical spare parts inventory, maintain stock levels, and coordinate with purchase and stores for timely procurement.
- Supervise maintenance activities related to EOT cranes, hoists, lifting equipment,



and material handling systems while ensuring statutory compliance and protected lifting practices.
- Plan and allocate manpower efficiently for maintenance activities across CNC, utility, hydraulic, and thermal systems while coordinating with production and quality teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, work permit systems, and LOTO procedures during all maintenance activities.
- Maintain maintenance records, analyze breakdowns, track MTBF/MTTR, monitor downtime trends, and support audits, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

Person with a Diploma / B.E., or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, having 3 to 8 years of experience in Utility Maintenance, CNC Maintenance, and Hydraulic Maintenance.
