This Position reports to:

Sales Support Manager

Your role and responsibilities : In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business of Measurement and Analytics Division for Bangalore You will be mainly accountable for:

- Support the local sales and and system integration units organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions, preparing demanding offers, and providing technical support during the meeting.
- Prepare/support the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, local business unit/feeder factory indications, and sales organization directives. Participate in the kick-off meeting organized by the project team.
- Analyse customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by the sales organization.
- Perform lost proposal analysis, identify the potential causes, and recommend future actions in cooperation with the sales/local business unit to obtain better future results.
- Lead the team of 10+ resources based on ABB values (4C)
- Defines key targets and ensures their achievement by overseeing progress and defining improvement actions for customer support and satisfaction.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

- Deep knowledge of Analytical products and system design.
- Experience in product selection and configuration, quotation preparation, technical document compliance,



vendor coordination, full-cost model calculation, and technical query clarification.
- Good understanding of business types (products, services, projects).
- Experience in working in aninternational business environment.
- Knowledge of sales operations tools Salesforce Chance Management, Reports, and Dashboards.
- Exposure and understanding of the industrial processes - Power Plant, Water, Metals & Minerals, Oil & Gas, Pulp Paper.
- Must have 10+ years of experience in quotation management including preparation of quotations based on complex project RfQs.
- Must have 2+ years of experience in managing teams and performance management.
- Experience in training and developing resources.
- B.E/ B. Tech in Instrumentation/Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical
