Role Overview

We are looking for a Functional Consulting professional with solid presales and consulting experience. The role involves working closely with clients, sales teams, and delivery teams to understand business requirements, define functional solutions, and support proposal development through to successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with clients to understand business processes, pain points, and functional requirements
- Lead requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder discussions
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and solution documents
- Support presales activities including RFP/RFI responses, solution walkthroughs, effort estimation, and proposal preparation
- Create high-level functional solution designs, process flows, and use cases
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate and feasible solution design
- Participate in client presentations, demos, and solution discussions during presales




- Provide functional guidance during implementation, UAT, and go-live phases
- Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment
- Support change requests, impact analysis, and scope discussions

Required Skills & Experience
- 4 to 8 years of experience in functional consulting or business analysis roles
- Strong exposure to presales activities and client-facing consulting engagements
- Experience in requirement gathering, solutioning, and documentation
- Good understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies
- Ability to articulate solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in preparing proposals, estimations, and functional solution decks
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
