Role & responsibilities:

- Set up and operate cylindrical grinding machines (OD/ID grinding).
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Select appropriate grinding wheels, fixtures, and tooling.
- Perform precision grinding operations to achieve required dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as micrometres, vernier calipers, dial gauges, and bore gauges.
- Ensure proper alignment and balancing of grinding wheels.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Identify defects and take corrective actions.
- Maintain production records and job documentation.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work setting (5S).
