Job Summary

We are looking for experienced and qualified Safety Professionals to join our Steel Plant. The position is open to candidates with 1 to 15 years of experience, and the designation will be offered based on the candidate's experience and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety rules, regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Implement and monitor the company's Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across the plant.
- Identify hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, induction programs, and awareness sessions for employees and contract workers.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and prepare detailed reports.
- Monitor the use of PPE and ensure compliance with safety procedures at the workplace.
- Ensure safe work practices in areas such as DRI/Sponge Iron, Steel Melting,



Rolling Mill, Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical, Height Work, Hot Work, Confined Space, and Material Handling.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure effective implementation of safety standards.
- Maintain safety records, reports, registers, and statutory documentation.
- Support emergency preparedness, mock drills, fire safety, and disaster management activities.
- Monitor contractor safety and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
- Promote a strong safety culture and continuously improve workplace safety standards.
- Candidate Profile

- 1 to 15 years of experience in Safety, preferably in the Steel, Iron, DRI, Sponge Iron, Manufacturing, or Heavy Engineering Industry.
- Candidates with experience in steel plants and process industries will be preferred.
- Solid knowledge of industrial safety practices, hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
- Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and statutory compliance.
- Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
