Position-Assit.Manager / Dy.Manager Post Kiln (TPM)
Department - Production Post Kiln and Pre Kiln
Location- Contemporary Insulators Ltd., Abu Road, Rajasthan
Reports To HOD (Pre-Kiln) & (Post-Kiln)

Job Purpose:-
To lead and drive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) implementation in respective Pre & Post-Kiln sections by improving equipment reliability, production efficiency, process stability, quality, safety, and workforce involvement. The role will work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Industrial Engineering and EHS teams to establish TPM culture and achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:-
TPM Implementation

- Implement TPM methodology in respective Pre & Post-Kiln sections.
- Coordinate implementation of all TPM pillars with focus on Autonomous Maintenance (Jishu Hozen), Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement (Kaizen), Quality Maintenance and Education & Training.
- Prepare and monitor TPM implementation roadmap and monthly action plans.
- Conduct TPM audits and ensure compliance with TPM standards.

Process Improvement

- Improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) of critical machines.
- Reduce breakdowns, minor stoppages, process losses and quality defects.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvement initiatives.
- Lead root cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto and other problem-solving tools.

Production Excellence

- Ensure process adherence and standard operating procedures.
- Improve productivity, yield and production efficiency.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime.
- Support achievement of daily and monthly production targets.





Autonomous Maintenance

- Develop and implement Autonomous Maintenance standards.
- Train operators on cleaning, lubrication, inspection and minor maintenance.
- Ensure visual management, tagging system and abnormality identification.

Continuous Improvement

- Drive Kaizen activities and cost reduction projects.
- Identify opportunities for waste elimination using Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Promote employee involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.

Training & Development

- Conduct TPM awareness and technical training programs.
- Develop skill matrices and training plans for operators.
- Mentor shop-floor teams on TPM practices and problem-solving techniques.

Safety & 5S

- Ensure implementation of 5S across all Post-Kiln areas.
- Promote safe work practices and compliance with EHS standards.
- Participate in safety audits and corrective action implementation.

Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare TPM progress reports, dashboards and presentations.
- Maintain records of audits, Kaizens, OEE, breakdown analysis and action plans.
- Present implementation status to Plant Leadership.

Educational Qualification

- B.Tech / B.E. in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Ceramic Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Production Engineering
- or equivalent discipline

Experience:-

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Process Industry.
- Experience in TPM implementation in manufacturing plants is mandatory/preferred.
- Experience in Ceramic, Cement, Glass, Refractory, Steel, Chemical or similar continuous process industries will be preferred.

Approved Salary Range: 6.00 8.00 LPA(Based on qualification, experience & competency)
Minimum Experience: 5 Years in Process Industry
Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. (Mechanical, Ceramic, Electrical, Production or equivalent)
