MedPlus Diagnostics is looking for an experienced Laboratory Manager to lead day-to-day laboratory operations, ensuring operational excellence, quality standards, effective manpower utilization, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily laboratory operations and workflow
Ensure laboratory Turnaround Time (TAT) targets are achieved
Plan manpower, duty rosters, leave schedules & productivity
Monitor sample flow and referral testing coordination
Oversee sample logistics (Hub & Spoke model) and collection centers
Ensure equipment installation, calibration, preventive maintenance & uptime
Manage reagent inventory, vendor coordination & expiry control
Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions
Review daily operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- TAT Achievement: >95%
- Equipment Uptime: >98%
- Zero Stock-Outs
- Complaint Closure within SLA
- Employee Productivity
- Minimum Reagent Wastage
Eligibility
Qualification:
- MSc / BSc / DMLT
Experience:
- 7–10 years of laboratory operations experience
