Job Description Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer

Experience

7-12 Years

Educational Qualification

- A Bachelors / Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

- Build CFD models and execute advanced simulations and analysis.
- Generate CFD meshes and perform both steady and unsteady CFD analysis using standard commercial tools (ANSYS, STAR-CCM+, OPENFOAM).
- Coordinate with design teams to develop/implement optimize mechanical systems design and guide the design process.
- Develop user defined routines to extend commercial software capabilities using Python and C++.
- Provide consistent and concise oral and written reports to guide design outcomes and resolves issues.

Job Requirements

- A Bachelors / Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong background in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics,



heat transfer fundamentals and numerical methods.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with CAD programs, Microsoft Office products and coding tools.
- Good programming skills, e.g. Matlab, Python,
- Outstanding teamwork skills and high degree of commitment.
- Excellent skills in written and spoken English.
- Have a logical problem-solving approach.

Preferred Skills and Experience

- Knowledge of ANSYS CFD Suite (Ansys Design Modeler, Ansys Space Claim, ICEM CFD, Ansys Meshing, Fluent Meshing, Ansys Fluent, CFD Post, Ensight, Discovery Live).
- Knowledge of FDS/OPENFOAM.
- MTech candidates would be preferred.
