Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager NPI leads Recent Product Introduction (NPI) programs while supporting Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) and Sustaining Engineering initiatives. The role coordinates Engineering, Technical Operations, Testing, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations and Contract Manufacturers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards while driving KPI reporting, governance, manufacturing readiness, and executive communication.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end NPI programs from concept through production launch.
- Support AME projects including industrialization, process development, automation, equipment implementation and factory readiness.
- Support Sustaining Engineering projects including engineering changes, product enhancements, cost reduction, quality improvements and component obsolescence.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans and risk registers.
- Coordinate NPI, Technical Operations and Testing teams to achieve project milestones.
- Coordinate Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement and Operations activities.
- Lead design reviews, gate reviews and manufacturing readiness reviews.
- Coordinate EVT, DVT, PVT, pilot builds, validation activities and production ramp.
- Drive DFM, DFA, DFC, APQP, PFMEA, PPAP and process validation activities.
- Manage ECRs, ECOs, BOM releases and configuration management.
- Serve as primary interface with Contract Manufacturers for project execution and technical communication.
- Translate technical discussions into executable project plans,



actions and executive updates.
- Generate weekly project updates, dashboards and executive reports.
- Develop, monitor and report project KPIs and program metrics.
- Maintain RAID logs and drive mitigation plans.
- Chair weekly cross-functional reviews and follow up on action items.
- Track CAPEX, budgets, tooling and resource utilization.
- Balance priorities across NPI, AME and Sustaining Engineering portfolios.
- Drive value engineering, localization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, quality standards and successful product launch.

Qualifications Required
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- 8 10 years of NPI/manufacturing project management experience.
- Experience with PLM/ERP (Windchill, SAP preferred).
- Strong knowledge of DFM, APQP, PFMEA, PPAP and quality systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and budget/CAPEX experience.

Preferred
- PMP certification.
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
- Automation/Industry 4.0 experience.
- CAD knowledge.
- Vendor and Contract Manufacturer management.
