As a Senior Backend Engineer at SalesIntel, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our core backend systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions that meet the evolving needs of our product. The ideal candidate should have a robust background in backend development, a deep understanding of system architecture, and a proven track record of delivering robust and efficient code. What You ll Be Doing:

- Design and develop scalable backend systems and microservices.
- Build and maintain robust, high-performance APIs
- Drive system design and architecture decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability in production systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 7+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer
- Strong experience preferably in Java and Spring Boot (microservices architecture)




- Proven experience with REST APIs and distributed systems
- Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience working on production-scale systems
- Background in SaaS, SalesTech, or data-heavy platforms
- Experience with event-driven systems (SQS , Kinesis , Kafka, etc.)
- Exposure to the cloud (AWS) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong ownership and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools (Cursor, ChatGPT, etc.) to enhance development efficiency and code quality

REPORTING: This position will report to the Engineering Manager or as assigned by Management..
