About the Role
We are hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the development of our Geo Platform, driving scalable backend architecture, API development, and engineering excellence while mentoring a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor engineering teams.
* Design and build scalable backend solutions using Python and FastAPI.
* Develop API-first applications and geo-data pipelines.
* Architect and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive Agile delivery.
* Improve engineering processes and leverage AI-powered development tools.
Must-Have Skills
* 10+ years of software engineering experience.
* Strong Python, FastAPI, and REST API development.
* Strong backend architecture and system design.
* Hands-on AWS (S3, EC2, ECS, EMR, Lambda).
* Experience with GIS, Geo-Spatial Data, and USA POI/Location Data (Mandatory).
* Strong SQL, Airflow, and Git.
* Experience using AI tools like Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot.
