Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing freight and identifying available carriers through company systems and load boards
- Support communication between shippers and carriers to coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Help negotiate freight rates under supervision to ensure profitable and competitive pricing
- Track shipments and provide status updates to customers and internal teams
- Maintain accurate records of loads, carrier details, and shipment documentation
- Learn and follow company processes, compliance requirements, and industry regulations
- Resolve basic shipment issues and escalate complex problems to senior team members
- Build and maintain professional relationships with carriers and customers
- Gain knowledge of market trends and logistics operations
Qualifications
