Role: Vendor Relationship Manager (VRM)

Job Summary

The Vendor Relationship Manager (VRM) is responsible for maintaining robust relationships with domesticand international vendors to support timely procurement of quality materials. The role involves vendorcoordination, pricing follow-up, procurement support, documentation management, and supplierperformance monitoring to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with domestic and international vendors for pricing and procurement requirements.
- Follow up on quotations, technical documents, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Develop and maintain an approved vendor database.
- Procurement Support
- Support the sourcing team in identifying suitable vendors for project requirements.
- Assist in price negotiations, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with Estimation, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Accounts teams.
- Vendor Performance
- Monitor supplier performance based on Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD).
- Maintain vendor evaluation records and performance reports.




- Escalate supplier delays, quality issues, and procurement risks to management.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain supplier records, quotations, agreements, and certifications.
- Ensure procurement documents are updated in the ERP system.
- Update vendor status and progress reports in the MIS.
- Support purchase order processing and related documentation.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in vendor coordination or procurement.
- Experience in fabrication, engineering, or industrial products is preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
