About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Lead to drive automation, scalability, and CI/CD processes across our engineering teams. In this role, you will take ownership of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines, lead a team of DevOps engineers, and collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams to ensure streamlined and secure delivery of products and services. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both technical depth and strong team mentoring skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage and optimize infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Oversee cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring cost-effective, secure, and highly available solutions.
- Automate and monitor system provisioning, deployment, and scaling.




- Collaborate with software engineering teams to streamline and standardize development and release processes.
- Implement and manage observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog).
- Manage containerization and orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production issues.
- Champion DevOps best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement and automation.
- Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers and contribute to team hiring and development.

Required Skills

- 6+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles with at least 2+ years in a leadership or senior role.
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.).
- Proficient in managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
- Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes, including production-grade deployments.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).
- Expertise in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Go, etc.).
- Strong grasp of security best practices in DevOps and cloud environments.
- Familiarity with GitOps, service mesh, and microservices deployment strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certified in AWS/GCP/Azure (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with serverless architecture and event-driven design.
- Exposure to configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, finance) with compliance standards like SOC2, HIPAA, or GDPR.
- Knowledge of chaos engineering or resilience testing tools.
- Prior experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures.
- Contributions to open-source DevOps tools or active participation in the DevOps community.
