About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineering Trainer with strong real-world project experience to train aspiring data engineers from beginner to advanced level.

This is not a traditional classroom teaching role. We are looking for someone who can mentor students through real-world projects, code reviews, production practices, and industry workflows.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying modern data engineering solutions on cloud platforms.

ResponsibilitiesTraining & Mentoring

- Deliver instructor-led sessions from fundamentals to advanced concepts.
- Explain complex topics using practical business scenarios.
- Conduct live coding sessions.
- Design and review coding assignments.
- Mentor students during projects and hackathons.
- Conduct mock interviews and technical assessments.
- Evaluate student progress and provide personalized feedback.

Required Skills

- 4–8+ years of Data Engineering experience.
- Strong SQL expertise.
- Solid Python programming skills.
- Experience with Apache Spark.
- Experience with Kafka.
- Experience with Airflow.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Good understanding of distributed systems.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience mentoring or training is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Databricks.
- Experience with dbt.
- Experience with Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg.
- AWS/Azure/GCP certifications.
- Experience working in Agile teams.
