Middle School English Teacher (CBSE)

Location: Bidar, Karnataka

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Middle School English Teacher to teach students of Classes VI to VIII. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, thorough knowledge of the CBSE curriculum, and the ability to create an engaging learning environment that develops students' reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities

Teach English to students of Classes VI–VIII as per the CBSE curriculum.

Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and classroom activities.

Develop students' grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.

Conduct regular tests, evaluate answer scripts, and provide constructive feedback.

Encourage creative writing, public speaking, debates, storytelling, and literary activities.

Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.

Integrate technology and interactive teaching methods into lessons.





Monitor student progress and communicate with parents during PTMs.

Maintain academic records and submit reports on time.

Participate in school events, assemblies, competitions, and staff meetings.

Work collaboratively with coordinators and fellow teachers to improve learning outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in English or a related subject.

B.Ed. is mandatory.

CTET/TET qualification is preferred.

Experience

2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school.

Skills Required

Excellent spoken and written English.

Solid classroom management skills.

Good understanding of CBSE curriculum and assessment practices.

Proficiency in MS Office and digital teaching tools.

Creative, patient, enthusiastic, and student-focused approach.

Salary

Best in the industry, based on qualifications and experience.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
