Description

Operate and maintain lab and pilot-scale plant extraction equipment, including Soxhlet extractors, rotary evaporators, percolators, reactor vessels, vacuum drying ovens, spray dryers, and column chromatography setups. Execute batch extraction protocols (aqueous, alcoholic, and solvent-based extractions) under the guidance of R&D; scientists. Handle raw botanical materials, including weighing, milling, grinding, sieving, and sample preparation. Perform concentration, filtration, and solvent recovery operations safely and efficiently. Assist scientists in column packing, fraction collection, and basic phytochemical screening tests. Monitor process parameters during trials, such as temperature, pressure, pH, stirring speed,



and extraction yield. Prepare chemical reagents, standard solutions, and mobile phases for experiments and analytical testing. Perform routine cleaning, calibration, and sanitation of extraction plant equipment and glassware. Maintain equipment logbooks, operating records, and usage logs according to Positive Laboratory Practices (GLP) and cGMP standards. Adhere strictly to EHS guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and handle organic solvents safely using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
