AWS Cloud Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will bring robust expertise in cloud architecture, migration strategies, and modern DevOps practices, along with the ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement highly scalable, reliable, and secure AWS cloud architectures
- Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premise environments to AWS
- Define and enforce best practices for cloud architecture, security, and governance
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams
- Optimize cloud performance and cost efficiency
- Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services:
- - EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFront

- Deep understanding of cloud architecture design patterns and frameworks
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline)
- Strong networking knowledge (DNS, VPN, Load Balancing)
- Expertise in cloud security best practices (encryption, IAM roles, compliance)




- Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Bilingual proficiency (Japanese language skills preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

- AWS Certifications such as:
- - AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

Education

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
