Voyage of Wellness (VOW) is seeking a dynamic and versatile Barista & Café Associate to join our new Gaming & Entertainment Café in Noida. This role goes beyond coffee preparation and requires an individual who can independently manage beverages, prepare quick-service food, operate the POS, and deliver exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced café environment and capable of handling multiple responsibilities while maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: Coffee & Beverage Preparation

- Prepare premium espresso-based beverages including Latte, Cappuccino, Americano, Mocha, Flat White, Espresso, and Macchiato.
- Prepare cold coffees, frappes, iced teas, mojitos, coolers, milkshakes, smoothies, fresh juices, mocktails, and seasonal beverages.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and beverage equipment.

Food Preparation

- Prepare quick-service café food including:
- Sandwiches
- Burgers
- Wraps
- Garlic Bread
- French Fries
- Pasta
- Maggi & Instant Meals
- Loaded Fries
- Pizzas (if applicable)
- Salads
- Waffles/Pancakes (if applicable)
- Desserts & Plating
- Maintain food quality and presentation standards.
- Follow standardized recipes and SOPs.

Customer Service

- Welcome and assist guests with a friendly attitude.
- Take and process customer orders accurately.
- Recommend menu items, combos, beverages, and add-ons.
- Handle customer feedback professionally.
- Create a memorable guest experience.

POS & Billing





- Operate POS and billing software.
- Process cash, UPI, cards, and digital payments.
- Maintain billing accuracy.
- Reconcile daily cash collections (if assigned).

Inventory & Stock Management

- Monitor daily stock levels.
- Maintain FIFO and FEFO practices.
- Receive and store inventory correctly.
- Minimize food and beverage wastage.
- Inform the manager of stock shortages.

Hygiene & Food Safety

- Maintain cleanliness of the café, beverage station, and kitchen.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Clean coffee machines, kitchen equipment, refrigerators, and workstations.
- Ensure proper storage temperatures for food and beverages.

Café Operations

- Open and close the café as per SOPs.
- Prepare mise en place before service.
- Assist with receiving supplies and stock organization.
- Support promotional events and special offers.
- Maintain visual merchandising of display counters.

Qualifications





- Minimum 10+2.
- Diploma/Certification in Hospitality, Food Production, Bakery, Barista Training, or Hotel Management preferred.

Experience

- 1–3 years in cafés, coffee chains, QSRs, gaming cafés, restaurants, or cloud kitchens.
- Experience with brands such as Starbucks, Third Wave Coffee, Blue Tokai, Costa Coffee, Café Coffee Day, Tim Hortons, or similar café concepts is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in both beverage preparation and basic cooking will be given preference.

Preferred Candidate Profile

We are looking for an energetic, self-driven individual who can independently manage a café counter and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable preparing specialty coffee, cold beverages, quick-service food, handling billing, maintaining hygiene standards, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to multitask in a high-energy gaming workplace are essential.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
