Role : Lead Applications Software Developer

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lead Applications Software Developer provides high-level technical leadership and hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise software solutions. This role leads development teams across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring quality delivery, adherence to standards, and alignment with business objectives. The position also serves as a subject matter expert and mentors team members while driving innovation and best practices.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead software development teams across all phases of the SDLC
- Provide technical leadership in coding, debugging, and system integration
- Define system scope, objectives, and technical solutions
- Act as primary technical point of contact for stakeholders
- Develop technical specifications, code, and testing strategies
- Manage change control, issue resolution, and release activities
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and security practices
- Design and implement REST API-based integration solutions
- Conduct code reviews and quality assurance checks
- Identify and mitigate technical risks
- Mentor developers and provide technical guidance
- Maintain documentation for development and testing
- Collaborate across teams to improve processes




- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

- Solid programming skills in JavaScript, Java, and Node.js
- Experience with Auth0 (Rules, Actions, MFA, Management API)
- Experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation/Terraform)
- Strong REST API design and integration expertise
- Understanding of IAM protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, JWT, PKCE)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities

NICE TO HAVE:

- Experience with Python and Spring Boot
- Exposure to React or Angular
- Experience integrating frontend with Auth0

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 8–10 years of software development experience
- Experience leading development teams
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
