Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of Windows Server administration (2008 R2 through 2022).
- 4+ years of hands-on Hyper-V design, deployment, and administration (Failover Clustering, SCVMM, Storage Spaces Direct).
- Demonstrated experience migrating VMware and/or Nutanix AHV workloads to Hyper-V at scale.
- Solid understanding of OS upgrade methodologies (in-place upgrade vs. migrate-and-rebuild) and their tradeoffs.
- Application compatibility assessment and remediation experience for legacy Windows applications.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft server licensing (Windows Server editions, Software Assurance, CALs, Hyper-V licensing).
- Robust PowerShell scripting ability for automation of assessment and migration tasks.
- Experience planning and executing production cutovers with defined rollback plans.




- Excellent written documentation skills (runbooks, migration playbooks, architecture diagrams).

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in OT/ICS or manufacturing environments (SCADA awareness, industrial change-control discipline).
- Experience with Azure Migrate, Azure Arc, or other hybrid-cloud migration tooling.
- Multi-region/global rollout coordination experience.
- Microsoft certification (e.g., relevant Windows Server/Hyper-V or Azure infrastructure certification) verify current certification names/tracks against Microsoft's site, as legacy MCSE/MCSA tracks have been retired.
- VMware and/or Nutanix AHV certifications.
- ITIL-aligned change management experience.
