Job Description

The Top Cover Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, preparing, and inspecting the top cover of lithium-ion battery packs. The role involves installing electrical and mechanical components, ensuring proper fitment, maintaining quality standards, and following all safety and ESD procedures to support effective battery pack production.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and prepare battery pack top covers as per engineering drawings, BOM, and SOPs.

Install components such as connectors, wiring harnesses, insulation materials, gaskets, vents, terminals, and fasteners.

Ensure proper alignment and secure fitment of the top cover before final battery pack assembly.

Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections to verify assembly quality.

Operate hand tools, torque tools, and assembly fixtures safely and accurately.

Identify and report defects, damaged components, or process deviations to the Production Supervisor.

Maintain production records and ensure traceability as per company requirements.

Follow ESD, PPE, safety, and 5S standards at all times.

Coordinate with Quality and Production teams to resolve assembly-related issues.





Support continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity and reduce defects.

Qualifications

ITI / Diploma / 10+2 or equivalent qualification.

1–3 years of experience in lithium-ion battery pack, EV, electronics, or automotive assembly (Freshers with relevant training may also apply).

Required Skills

Knowledge of lithium-ion battery pack assembly processes.

Ability to read engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and BOM.

Familiarity with hand tools, torque tools, and measuring instruments.

Understanding of ESD handling and manufacturing safety practices.

Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and teamwork.

Basic troubleshooting and communication skills.

Pay: ₹9,795.06 - ₹16,435.31 per month
