Job Description: Lead Engineer - WPF

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced WPF Lead Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of Desktop applications. Candidate should have solid expertise in C#, .NET, MVVM architecture, and desktop application development, along with proven leadership experience in delivering scalable and user-friendly solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex desktop applications using WPF and C#.
- Define software architecture and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using WPF, XAML, and MVVM patterns.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Drive technical discussions, perform code reviews, and mentor development teams.
- Optimize application performance, memory utilization, and responsiveness.
- Integrate desktop applications with backend services,



databases, and third-party systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues.
- Participate in release planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities.
- Ensure application quality through unit testing, automation, and CI/CD practices.
- Exposure in Agile Scrum

Required Skills & Technologies

- Strong programming experience in C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core/.NET 6+.
- Extensive experience in Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
- Advanced knowledge of XAML development.
- Strong understanding of MVVM architecture.
- Experience with data binding, commands, styles, templates, and custom controls.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server and database design concepts.
- Experience with Entity Framework

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in Industrial Automation, Manufacturing, Healthcare, or Enterprise Software domains.
