Job Purpose

To ensure smooth production operations, achieve daily production targets, maintain product quality standards, control inventory, improve productivity, and support continuous improvement activities in the hinge manufacturing and assembly plant

Key Responsibilities

Production Responsibilities

Plan and monitor daily production activities as per production schedule.

Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.

Monitor machine utilization, productivity, and efficiency.

Control manpower deployment and line balancing.

Reduce machine downtime and production losses.

Monitor WIP, SFG, and FG inventory.

Coordinate with maintenance team for machine breakdowns.

Ensure SAP production confirmations and inventory transactions are completed accurately.

Implement 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing practices.

Prepare daily production reports and MIS.

Quality Responsibilities

Ensure production of defect-free products as per quality standards.

Monitor incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.

Analyze quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Conduct root cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, etc.

Monitor rejection, rework, and customer complaints.

Ensure adherence to quality procedures and work instructions.





Maintain quality records and inspection reports.

Conduct operator quality awareness training.

Ensure calibration and proper use of measuring instruments.

Inventory & SAP Responsibilities

Monitor raw material, WIP, SFG, and FG inventory.

Maintain inventory accuracy in SAP.

Coordinate with stores and planning departments.

Perform stock verification and reconciliation.

Safety & Compliance Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to safety rules and PPE usage.

Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards.

Ensure compliance with company policies and quality systems.

Required Skills

Knowledge of Press Shop and Assembly Operations.

Understanding of Quality Tools (7 QC Tools, CAPA, 5 Why, FMEA).

SAP Production and Inventory Module knowledge.

MS Excel and Reporting Skills.

Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Team management and leadership.

Production planning and inventory control.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / B.E. Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

Experience

Better if have experiance

2–5 years’ experience in Press Shop, Hinge Manufacturing or any other manufacturing, Assembly Operations, or Metal Component Manufacturing

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
