About the Role
Mena Global is seeking for a skilled and detail-oriented Solar PV Design Engineer to lead the design and development of high-quality solar energy systems. The role involves end-to-end system design, including layouts, simulations, performance analysis, and cost optimization, while ensuring compliance with relevant standards. You will work on advanced solutions incorporating BESS and EV charging, contribute to technical proposals with financial analysis, and collaborate closely with internal teams. This position also requires mentoring junior engineers and driving efficient execution of design deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead solar PV system design using Helioscope, PVsyst, and AutoCAD.
- Prepare layouts, SLDs, schematics, and cost estimates.
- Conduct yield analysis, string sizing, inverter selection, and loss calculations.
- Ensure compliance with AS/NZS and CEC standards.
- Design systems with BESS and EV chargers (AC/DC coupling).
- Develop proposals with ROI, payback, and cash-flow analysis.




- Mentor junior engineers and manage design tasks.
- Review tender docs and submit as per technical solar requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Energy Systems (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in solar PV Designing.
- Strong knowledge of PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD, Excel and relevant standards.
- Excellent English communication (verbal & written).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Preferred

- Experience with Australian solar projects or knowledge of AS/NZS standards.
- Familiarity with inverter brands like Solis, Growatt, Sungrow, SMA, Fronius, GoodWe, Fox etc.
- Comfortable working in Australian shift timings.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
