JD Support Engineer

Essential Job Functions

- Familiarity with the Okta identity and access management (IAM) platform, its operation,

functions and processes

- Assist with the transition of current and existing applications into Okta SSO and federation

services, while enhancing web access management, and directory service environment

- Perform necessary platform configurations and configurations related to integrating

applications with Okta for SSO and federation services (OIDC and SAML2)

- Manage existing integrations and support technical integration needs (design and

development) that facilitate connectivity between SSO, directory, and provisioning tools

- Monitoring system operation and performance for potential problems

- Researching, testing, and verifying proper functioning of software patches and fixes

- Documenting design specifications, system configurations and standard operating

procedures (SOP's)

- Support and troubleshoot end user password reset, account suspension, multifactor

authentication (MFA) and SSO issues

- Create/delete groups, create/remove users, create/clear user tokens in groups, manage





group permissions, edit MFA factors, monitor and respond to ticket queue, run and

download reports

- Occasionally support production changes and disaster recovery tests outside of normal

working hours

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of professional experience in the Information Technologies field - Required

- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience - Required

- Experience with using and administering Okta - Required

- Experience with assisting end user authentication issues - Required

- Familiarity with single sign-on technologies (OIDC & SAMLs) -Required

- Experience with assisting end user authentication issues - Required

- Okta administration certification - Not required, but a plus

- Supporting users in the Asian and European
