Job Summary

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer with strong networking skills to support IT infrastructure across our educational campus. The role involves maintaining computer systems, network connectivity, AV setups for classrooms, and ensuring smooth IT operations for students, faculty.

Key Responsibilities

Networking & Infrastructure

· Install, configure, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, WiFi, switches, routers, and firewalls

· Monitor network performance, bandwidth, and ensure 99% uptime for academic operations

· Manage VLANs, IP allocation, DNS, DHCP and network security policies

· Coordinate with ISP for internet/leaseline issues and downtime resolution.

IT Support – Education Workplace

· Provide L1/L2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, smart boards, and AV equipment in classrooms

· Setup and support for online classes, LMS, Zoom/Google Meet, and exam lab systems

· Install and configure academic software, OS, antivirus, and other licensed tools

· Maintain IT asset register and coordinate AMC/AMC renewals.





Maintenance & Security

· Regular backup of critical academic data and server maintenance

· Implement IT security policies, user access control, and antivirus updates

· Support during admissions, exams, and events for IT setup.

Documentation & Coordination

· Knowledge HRMS/Helpdesk and ensure timely closure

· Prepare network diagrams, IP lists, and maintenance reports

· Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and other departments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Diploma / B.Sc IT / BCA / CCNA preferred

Experience: 3-6 years in IT Support, preferably in Schools/Colleges/EdTech

Technical Skills:

Networking: LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, WiFi, Firewall basics

Hardware: Desktop, Laptop, Printer, Projector, Smart Board troubleshooting

Software: Windows, Office 365, Antivirus, LMS platforms

Tools: Remote desktop tools, Network monitoring tools

Soft Skills: Good communication, problem-solving, and ability to handle faculty/student queries

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
