Job Summary

Ecostan India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Purchase Incharge to manage procurement activities, vendor development, and material planning. The ideal candidate should have experience in purchasing raw materials, engineering components, and consumables for a manufacturing industry while ensuring timely procurement at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, engineering items, consumables, and services
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers
- Prepare and process purchase orders and follow up on deliveries
- Coordinate with production, stores, planning, and accounts departments
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely material availability
- Maintain vendor records, purchase documentation, and procurement reports
- Ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials
- Resolve supplier-related issues and maintain long-term vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or purchase,



preferably in a manufacturing industry
