IT Support Engineer

Experience: 4–6 YearsWorking Days: Monday to FridayLocation: Thane (Work from Office)

Key Responsibilities

- Handle laptop/desktop setup for new joiners, including OS installation (windows and unix based especially Ubantu), software configuration, email setup, and access provisioning
- Manage user onboarding and offboarding IT activities (asset allocation, access control, system deactivation)
- Monitor and maintain infrastructure with solid networking knowledge(LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls)
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner
- Ensure proper IT asset management and inventory tracking
- Configure and maintain VPN, antivirus, and security protocols
- Provide technical support to employees for system, network, and application-related issues
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, AMC, and repairs




- Maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and IT policies
- Ensure data security, backups handling, storage management and system updates are regularly performed
- Handle printer setup, server access, and shared drives management
- Support IT audits and compliance requirements
- Ensure production deployment, release management, and environment support activities
- Server monitoring (health checkups, security, software upgreades on server)
- Windows/Linux operating systems

Technical Skills Required

- Strong knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN)
- Experience with routers, switches, firewalls configuration
- Hands-on experience in Linux (Ubantu) and Windows OS, Moderate-level Linux knowledge is mandatory
- Knowledge of Active Directory, user management, and access control
- Experience with Office 365 / Google Workspace administration
- Understanding of IT security practices and endpoint protection
