Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Controller with a strong Food & Beverage (F&B;) background to ensure that all food products, raw materials, production processes, and finished products meet established quality, food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in F&B; quality control, food safety, hygiene audits, SOP compliance, and documentation, with a strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular quality inspections of raw materials, ingredients, food preparation, production, storage, and finished products.
- Monitor compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to HACCP, GMP, SOPs, and company quality policies.
- Inspect incoming raw materials and verify quality against approved specifications.
- Conduct routine checks on temperature, storage conditions, expiry dates, product handling, and hygiene practices.
- Identify quality issues, non-conformities, and potential food safety risks and report them promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, checklists, corrective actions, and quality incidents.
- Coordinate with kitchen, production, warehouse, procurement, and operations teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Conduct regular hygiene and sanitation audits of food preparation and production areas.
- Monitor pest control, cleaning schedules, personal hygiene, and safe food handling practices.
- Support investigations into customer complaints, product defects, and food safety incidents.




- Recommend and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Assist in conducting staff training on food safety, hygiene, quality standards, and SOP compliance.
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, packaging, and storage of food products.
- Support internal and external audits and maintain required quality documentation.
- Prepare regular quality reports and highlight areas requiring improvement.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance within the F&B; industry.
- Good knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety, hygiene, and quality management systems.
- Experience in conducting food safety and hygiene inspections or audits.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Strong observation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.

- HACCP Certification
- Food Safety / Food Hygiene Certification
- ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 knowledge or certification
- Internal Auditor Certification
