- Experience: 4–5 years of mandatory experience as a Workshop Manager in the automobile industry.
- Candidates without Workshop Manager experience will not be considered.
- Experience in an authorized automobile dealership will be preferred.
- Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering (preferred) or Graduation with relevant automobile workshop management experience.
- Strong leadership, customer handling, and operational management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete day-to-day workshop operations.
- Ensure timely servicing, repairs, and delivery of customer vehicles.
- Lead and supervise Service Advisors, Technicians, and Workshop Staff.
- Monitor workshop productivity, labour efficiency, and service quality.
- Achieve workshop revenue and profitability targets.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the Spare Parts department for smooth workshop operations.
- Ensure compliance with OEM service standards, workshop SOPs, and safety guidelines.
- Monitor technician performance and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and operational efficiency within the workshop.
- Train and motivate the workshop team to improve productivity and service quality.
