We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant specializing in Oracle FLEXCUBE (v14.x) with a focus on Islamic Banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end technical lifecycle of system fixes, from initial code analysis and development to final deployment. You will play a critical role in maintaining system integrity and ensuring that customizations meet the rigorous demands of Islamic financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Bug Fixing & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues within the FLEXCUBE workplace, focusing on core modules and Islamic Banking extensions.
- Code Development: Perform necessary code changes, enhancements, and custom developments in alignment with functional specifications.
- Deployment Management: Manage the deployment process across different environments (UAT, SIT, and Production), ensuring adherence to version control and release management protocols.
- System Integration: Assist in the integration of FLEXCUBE with third-party systems and ensure data consistency across the banking stack.
- Performance Tuning: Identify bottlenecks in custom code or SQL queries and optimize them for high-volume banking operations.
Technical Skills & Expertise
- FLEXCUBE Tech Stack:
Proven experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking (FCUBS) Version 14.x.
- Programming: Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and Java (as applied within the FLEXCUBE framework).
- Tools: Hands-on experience with Oracle Developer Tools (ODT), Extensibility framework, and RAD (Rapid Application Development).
- Domain Knowledge: Technical understanding of Islamic Banking workflows (Murabaha, Ijarah, etc.) and how they are mapped within the database schema.
- Infrastructure: Understanding of WebLogic application servers and Oracle Database management.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: At least 5 years of core technical experience in FLEXCUBE implementation or support projects.
- Methodology: Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices in a banking context.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to trace complex bugs through stored procedures, triggers, and application logs.
- Communication: Ability to work closely with Functional Consultants to translate business logic into robust technical solutions.
