Job Description – Accounts Executive

Position: Accounts Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, GST compliance, and vendor/customer transactions. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and experience with accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounting transactions and financial records.
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Generate invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and payment vouchers.
- Handle GST invoicing, return filing support, and tax-related documentation.
- Prepare TDS calculations and maintain statutory compliance records.
- Reconcile cash, bank, and inventory-related transactions.
- Process employee reimbursements and vendor payments.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and tax consultants.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.
- Support budget preparation and expense monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance.




- Experience in the jewellery retail industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, Busy, Marg, or similar accounting software.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and financial reporting.

- Accuracy of accounting entries.
- Timely bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
- On-time preparation of MIS reports.
- Timely GST and statutory compliance support.
- Accuracy in vendor and customer account reconciliation.
- Zero major audit observations due to accounting errors.
- Effective management of financial records and documentation.

Working Hours

- Reporting Time: 11:00 AM
- Business Hours: 11:30 AM – 8:30 PM
- Weekly Off: As per company policy.
